The Easiest, Cheapest Dog Toy. Ever.

Here at CraftyHouse, we love to spoil our pets with love, food, and of course, a boatload of toys. Sure, you could go to the store and buy a rope toy for $12.99. OR you could make your own version and get rid of some of those old, ratty t-shirts just wasting space in the bottom drawer of your dresser. De-cluttering, saving money, and giving your dog a new toy? I call that a true win win win. Check out the easy to follow video below to get some ideas, and then customize your own dog toy. I can’t believe I haven’t done this before, it’s so easy! I’m never buying another rope toy again. Get the full instructions below the video.

While your dog is busy playing with their new toy, make this adorable fleece no sew doggy bed!

– Two old t-shirts

– Scissors

– Ruler

– Pen / marker

Cut t-shirt just below the arm holes. We’ll only be using the torso part of the shirt.

With a pen and ruler, mark off every 2 inches on the base of the shirt.

Cut at the marks, for and end result of 20 or so strips of fabric.

Repeat steps 1-3 for the second t-shirt.

Gather all of the strips, and tie off at one end.

Divide strips into two sections, and braid together.

Tie off at the bottom, and clean up any loose ends.
