Since the dishwasher is the thing that cleans the dishes, sometimes we forget that it needs a good cleaning too! With this cleaning method, you just have to pour vinegar and baking soda in the bottom of the dishwasher and run a short, hot, sanitize cycle. The mixture will sizzle a little bit, but that means it’s working! When we tried this method for the first time, it pushed all of the food particles and build up to the front of the dishwasher, and all we had to do was open the door and wipe it down. Supplies:

– White Vinegar

– Baking Soda

– Cleaning rag

Directions:

1. Remove the bottom rack and check for food blockages

2. Pour one cup of white vinegar in the bottom of the dishwasher, and sprinkle ½ cup of baking soda. Run on a quick wash, hot, sanitize cycle.

3. When the cycle is done, wipe down a final time with a microfiber cloth, or a paper towel.
