Vertical Blinds

I know these are outdated because as I type this, I’m sitting in my apartment that hasn’t been updated since 1982, staring at my vertical blinds and wondering how I can replace them without my landlord noticing. Aside from being outdated, these blinds are always breaking and they are so hard to open and close. It’s safe to say, there was just no winning with the whole vertical blinds trend.

Don’t get me wrong, floral prints are actually making a comeback these days, but it’s not quite like the floral print craze of the 80s and 90s. It was overwhelming, almost dizzying! Small floral print curtains against floral print wallpaper, both complemented by the nice floral couch and matching easy chair. Nowadays, bigger floral print is coming back, but only as an accent piece, and never more than one floral thing in a room at any given time.
