8 DIYs To Do With Your Family This Weekend!

Pull out this list whenever the kids say they’re bored!

Fruit Print Shirts

This is such a fun project to work on with the kiddos, plus it’s inexpensive and you’ll get an afternoon of fun AND new clothes for the kids to wear. Win-win! You can experiment with different fruit to see what kinds of shapes and stamps they make. Pictured above is an apple print, but you could try cutting a bunch of celery down to the base and using that for a flower print or using carrots as rollers to make different shapes.

Easy Hand Molds

This is such a sweet memento of your family! You’ll need a large container that will fit all the hands you want inside. Then, you’ll mix 2 packs of Hydrogum 5 with 1.5 liters of water into the container. Shape your hands the way you want, and stick into the bucket. Let sit for a few minutes while it hardens. Remove your hands and pour a quick-drying concrete mix into the mold you just made. After it sets, simply cut away the Hydrogum and spraypaint the concrete if you want to.
