8 DIYs To Do With Your Family This Weekend!

Pull out this list whenever the kids say they’re bored!

Snow Globes

What little girl wouldn’t love to have one of these in her room? I love this idea, and it’s really so easy to do. Once you’ve selected your figurine, you’ll just need a clean container with a lid, some water, E6000 glue, and glitter. Secure the figurine to the underside of the lid and let dry. In the meantime, add water and glitter to the container. Secure the lid on the canister with a layer of E6000 glue. When everything is dry, turn it upside down for an awesome snow globe!

Sock Snowmen

What a cute idea! These little sock snowmen are just adorable, don’t you think? The best part is, they are so easy to make. You’ll need a sock, some scissors, rice, and any accessories you want to put on your snowman. Cut the sock at both ends, tie one end, turn it inside out and fill with rice. Tie a string about 2/3 of the way up the sock to distinguish the head and the body of the snowman. Then, using the foot of the sock that was cut off, roll it up and place it on top for a little hat. Add your accessories and you’re all done! The great thing about this DIY is that it can double as a handwarmer if you throw it in the microwave for a little bit. Win-win!
