3 Party Cup Crafts

Plastic party cups can do way more than just hold our favorite beverages!

Hummingbird Feeder

Here is another creative kid craft: plastic cup hummingbird feeders. This is cool way to spark a little nature lesson and is a project that has real functional use. Hummingbirds are super fun to watch, and if you’ve got a feeder in your yard you’ll likely find many opportunities to observe hummingbirds. This is a super simple craft, with some age-appropriate adult supervision required (little ones should not handle an Exacto knife).

Observing the hummingbirds will likely inspire many questions, such as where they live and what they eat. Whip up this super simple nectar recipe: a little sugar and water poured into the cup will provide a nice snack for hummingbird friends. Let the kids decorate their feeders for an added artistic element to this craft. Imagine the fun when a little hummingbird pays a visit!
