Why do quilts matter?

If you’re here, then like us, you probably love quilting. With that said, if you asked each of us what we love about quilting, I can guarantee that we would all have a slightly different answer, though still similar on many levels

But what about if you asked why quilts matter? Sure they are beautiful blankets that have kept us warm at night for centuries and centuries, but there is so much more to a quilt than the layers of fabric sandwich and sewn together that keep us warm when placed over our beds at night.
