If you are new to quilting, having to individually sew all of your pieces together can be somewhat daunting and overwhelming; that is where chain piecing can really come in handy.
If you have not heard of it before, chain piecing is when you sew your pieces together at the same time, with one non-stop piece of thread. We would definitely call it one of the more important skills a beginning-quilter can (and should) learn.
Aside from saving you so much time, chain piecing also saves you thread, and helps you stay organized by keeping your pieces in the right order.

When you’re done, it’s time to get to work on your project; happy quilting!
