DIY Air Conditioner

This might not replace having central air, or even a little window unit, but you might be surprised at how effective this little DIY air conditioner is in a pinch! All you need is a fan and some frozen bottles of water. Place the bottles in front of the fan and get ready for a stream of cold air! You can modify this idea by getting a styrofoam cooler and cutting out three small holes in the front and bigger hole in the top. Fill the cooler with a few bags of ice (keep the ice in the bag) and then secure a fan to the top hole in the cooler. This will give you colder air for a lot longer as the cooler will keep the ice from melting for a few hours.
