It’s that time of year – the holidays are officially over, the kiddos are back in school, life is returning to a normal routine. Which means it’s time to take down the holiday decor. It’s always kind of a bummer to take down the tree and other festive decorations, but these helpful tips make the whole process easier and quicker. Plus, you’ll have everything all nice and organized for next year!

The first tip is to use egg cartons to store ornaments. Instead of a bunch of little boxes for each individual ornament, you can store whole sets of ornaments all together.

The next tip is for those smaller trees around the house. Maybe you put up a tiny tree in the office or guest bedroom. Instead of taking all of the ornaments off, bending up the branches, and stuffing the tree back in a cardboard box, you can just wrap the whole thing in saran wrap. Yup, ornaments and all. As long as you have the space to store it, this is such a brilliant idea! Next year you just unwrap the tree and fluff out the branches a little bit and you’re good to go.
