We tend to think of an airplane as being something that gets us from one place to another. As it turns out, you can now use an airplane to stay when you arrive at your destination, provided you arrive in the right location.

In this unique Airbnb that is made out of an airplane, you can stretch your legs and enjoy some time while keeping your feet firmly planted on the ground. There is even a bathroom in the cockpit. If you want to stay in this unique Airbnb, you will have to travel to the western part of France.

The plane is now a one-bedroom house and it’s parked at a campsite in Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef, about 270 miles from Paris. While staying at the location, you can enjoy bright red floors and retrofitted airplane seats that surround the dining room table. You will also appreciate the working kitchen and an attached deck that will help you to appreciate the surroundings.

You can get to the ocean within just a few minutes from the campsite Airbnb location. The campground also has a swimming pool with water slides if the weather is right.

You will need to bring your own sheets and towels but you will appreciate using them in the unique bathroom. The bathroom is located in the cockpit of the airplane, and one guest even referred to the location as being ‘unforgettable’.

“We had the impression of sleeping in a toy, everything was super nice to discover!” wrote Amélie, who stayed in 2017. “In addition, the reception was very good, the place was clean, perfect!”

Lene Roe was another visitor in June and wrote that if people “are looking for a funny and different experience this is the place to stay.”

Maggie stayed in 2016 and agreed, saying that the plane was “Not just a campsite, it’s an experience! Very welcoming and accommodating.”
