Surprise Toy Soap

What a fun idea for making your own little surprise soap! Wouldn’t the kiddos love this? Maybe you can even get them to wash up before meals without asking! Ok, ok, that might be selling it too hard. Start of with a soap base of your choice and make sure to get a soap mold that comes apart in the middle. If you’re in a pinch, you can use a plastic easter egg. Fill one half of the mold with the melted soap, and before it dries, put in a toy. Then, while that half is drying, fill the other half up with the soap base. Secure the mold together and wait for the whole thing to dry.

Faux Geodes

Aren’t these geodes so cool looking? They are super easy to make and you can use them for any number of decorations around the house! Set tea lights on them for a fun candle holder, secure a stick or clear pole to the middle and use it as a ring holder, use it as a paperweight, or just place it on a side table between some succulents for a cute, chic design. The best part is, these are so easy to make! Grab some flat stones and bake them in the oven. While they are still hot, trace circles in different colors with crayons. The crayons will melt and mix together, creating this awesome effect!
