Change The Color Of Your Hydrangeas

If you’ve ever grown hydrangeas before, then you’ll know a fun way to change up the colors – by changing the acidity of the soil! Alkaline soil produces pink hydrangeas, while added acidity gives you blue hydrangeas. If you notice that your hydrangeas are pink, try adding some coffee grounds to the soil and check back in a few days to see if they show signs of changing colors. Not all hydrangeas are inclined to change color, but most will after time. Depending on the acidity of the coffee, you may get several ranges of blue to pink to purple, even in the same plant!
