Nail Polish Remover

Most nail polish removers contain large amounts of rubbing alcohol, but they also have other chemicals and compounds that can actually harm your nail beds and cuticles over time. If you’re someone who wears nail polish frequently, it’s time to consider an alternative to the harsh removers. The good news is, plain old rubbing alcohol will do the trick just fine. Plus, the rubbing alcohol can help sanitize any infections you may have underneath the nail beds that you might not even be aware of.

Stretch Leather Shoes

This is such a good trick to keep up your sleeve! Do you have a pair of shoes that are super cute but don’t quite fit? Maybe the toe is a little too narrow, or the heel digs in a bit too much. We’ve got the perfect solution to fix those problem areas, and it’s all thanks to rubbing alcohol! Just dab a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol and coat the inside of the shoe where you want it to stretch. Then, put on a pair of thicker socks and wear the shoes for a while around the house. The area with the rubbing alcohol will stretch to accommodate your foot and the sock, whereas the rest of the shoe will remain unaltered.
