Deep Clean Grout

We are all familiar with the gross mold that tends to build up in the grout and caulking around the tub. Now there’s a super simple way to clean it all out using ingredients you probably already have on hand. This isn’t something you’ll need to do every week, but when you start to notice things getting a little gross, this is a good trick to have up your sleeve! Simply mix baking soda and bleach, just enough to make a thick paste. Apply the paste to anywhere you see mold, and let it sit for at least 8 hours. Wipe off the paste and gently scrub any stubborn parts before rinsing the area clean.

Hard Water Stains

This is a super easy way to remove hard water stains. Yes, it’s really just as simple as it looks. Cut a lemon in half and use it like a scrub brush. If there is a particularly difficult area, you can sprinkle some baking soda on the stain and scrub with the lemon. This method works particularly well on metal fixtures.
