How To Relieve Itchy Mosquito Bites – With 7 Items Already In Your Kitchen!

We all know how badly mosquito bites can itch, and at times, it can feel impossible to find relief. However, there are some easy methods to rid of those terrible itchy problems – and they’re found in your kitchen!

6. Baking Soda

Baking soda is naturally alkaline, which neutralizes the pH of the skin, provides relief from itchy bites, and aids in healing. Mix a teaspoon of baking soda into a glass of warm water. Apply the paste to the affected area for a few minutes, then wash it off with warm water. Alternatively, you can dip a clean cloth into the mixture and cover the itchy areas for 10 to 20 minutes.

7. Garlic Salt

Garlic can help reduce swelling and soothe itchy skin. Its strong smell acts as a repellant for future bites as well! Salt has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, so combined with garlic, it’s perfect for attacking that painful, itchy feeling. Create a paste using a few drops of warm water and an equal amount of garlic salt. Apply the paste onto the bug bites. This may cause a burning sensation for a few seconds, but allow to set for a few minutes and great relief will follow. Wash the paste off gently with warm water and repeat as needed.
