How To Make A DIY Pumpkin Keg For Halloween
Now all that’s left is figuring out what to fill it with: Spiked cider? Pumpkin ale? Sangria?
DIY is usually not my thing, but this Pumpkin Keg is a project that anyone can do!
The Today Show put together this super easy to follow online tutorial showing you how to create one using a keg tap you can buy online.
To get started, you simply cut a hole in the top of the pumpkin and scoop out the seeds. Make sure to get out all the guts as well so that your drink does not spoil.
You then cut a circle where the keg tap will be placed into. The hole has to be big enough for the tap to fit, but not allow any liquid to escape.
You can purchase a kit with a tap as well as a coring tool to make sure the hole is the exact size you need on Amazon for $17.99.
Now all that’s left is figuring out what to fill it with: Spiked cider? Pumpkin Ale? Sangria?
After Halloween is over, you can use this method and tap on watermelons during the summer months.
