It seems so wasteful (and not to mention expensive) to buy plastic sandwich bags and use them just once. We are always looking for more ways to reduce the amount of garbage we produce, and save money at the same time, so needless to say, we were so happy to find this great tutorial from Vanessa, The Crafty Gemini!

In the below video, she shows us how to make a reusable sandwich or snack bag using scrap fabric. It is quick, easy, looks great, and is completely washable, so you can use it over and over. It really is the perfect way to reduce waste, have some time with our sewing machines and save money on future plastic bag purchases.

Check out the tutorial below and see for yourself why we love this project! This project is especially great for anyone who has kids and intends to pack lunches for their kiddos to bring to school!
