She Sews Strips Of Cuddle Fabric Together For This Magical DIY!

These are normally SO EXPENSIVE but she makes her own for a fraction of the cost!

If you’ve been on Pinterest, or in stores, or living anywhere except under a rock for the last two years, then you’ll know just how popular these chunky knit blankets have become! And not just blankets, but hats and scarves as well. It’s easy to see what the draw is for these chunky knit items – they are so cuddly and warm and soft! It just makes you want to curl up in a snuggly ball on the couch and read a book or watch your favorite movie!

Unfortunately, these blankets are super expensive. Even if you want to make your own, the chunky wool is $20-$30 per skein, and you’ll need 8-10 skeins for a blanket.

Never fear! Jenny is here with a new tutorial for us today! She even brought her daughter along to guest star in this episode from the Missouri Star Quilt Company.

By cutting strips of cuddle fabric, and sewing them together from end to end, Jenny forms a great big ball of yarn to knit from. Her daughter shows us how to knit with this gigantic yarn, and you’ll end up with the coziest blanket it the world! This all comes together in a snap, so be sure to watch the video below and get ready to make one of these for everyone you know!
