How to Add Vintage Embroidery Pieces to a Crazy Quilt Square

Not sure what to do with old worn out yet beautiful linens passed down to you? The answer is THIS!

After my grandma passed away, we started finding all of these beautiful vintage linens with lovely embroidery designs on them that she made many years ago. While they were beautiful, many of them were worn and showing their wear and tear. They were obviously too special to just toss in the garbage but I wasn’t quite sure what to do with them until I ran across this tutorial from tlcinspirations, where she uses the vintage embroidery piece as part of her crazy quilt! This idea is genius!

Depending on the size of the linen and where there may be various holes or stains, you may not able to save the whole design, but I love being able to preserve whatever I can. This project is so special and I know you’re going to love it!

Note: If you don’t have any vintage linens that were passed down to you, I would definitely check thrift shops, garage sales and even websites like eBay.
