Granola bars are a go-to item for so many people, but you know what’s better than a granola bar? A homemade version. These oatmeal bars look so much more appetizing than anything out of a wrapper and you can always stir in your mix-ins like raisins or dried blueberries.
Peanut Butter Protein Balls
When it comes to satiety, protein and healthy fats are a must so I always love to make a batch of peanut butter protein balls to grab for a quick post-workout snack to hold me over until my next meal.
Fruit and Cracker Pizzas
If you’ve ever had fruit pizza, then you know that as delicious as it may be, it’s not really the “healthy” treat you want it to be, despite the fruit piled on top. These fruit and cracker “pizzas” give homage to the original, but in a healthier way. Just take a plain cracker and spread a thin layer of cream cheese or (my favorite) coconut manna and top with your favorite sliced fruit.
Raspberry Yogurt Muffins
Who doesn’t love a tasty muffin? These raspberry yogurt muffins look delicious and would be the perfect snack ready and waiting when the kids get home from school.
