This project is quick, easy, and practical – the trifecta of DIYs! With some scrap yarn, a button, and twenty minutes, you too can have this adorable crochet hooks and accessories pouch. Feel free to customize the stitches, I just made up a pattern and went for it – a round of double crochet followed by a round of puff stitches. I found that the double crochet left a little too much space between stitches to hold any of the super small crochet hooks in the pouch, so if you have a lot of tiny accessories you may want to consider a row of single crochets instead. Crochet Accessory Pouch Pattern:

For the base: Chain 10, turn, single crochet in second chain from the hook. Single crochet down the row, with 2 single crochets in the last chain.

Rotate piece so you’re crocheting on the bottom. Single crochet across, join with a slip stitch and chain 1.

Round 1: Single crochet around, front loops only. Join with a slip stitch, chain 3.

Round 2: Double crochet around, join with a slip stitch in top of 3rd chain. Chain 2.

Round 3: * Puff stitch in next stitch, skip next stitch, repeat from * end round with a double crochet and slip stitch into top of 2nd chain.

Rounds 4-8: Alternate rounds of double crochet, ending on a double crochet round. Chain 1.

Round 9: Single crochet next 2 stitches, chain 12, skip 12 stitches, and attach on 13th stitch with a single crochet. Single crochet each stitch, join round with a slip stitch. Chain 1.

Round 10: Single crochet around, join with a slip stitch. Chain 3.

Round 11: Double crochet around, join with a slip stitch on top of chain 3. Chain 1.

Round 12 & 13: Single crochet around. Join opposing stitches with a slip stitch to close off the top. Fasten off, weave in ends.

For button loop: Chain 10, join in first chain with a slip stitch. Attach to center of flap. Sew on button, and hook loop over button.
