Egg Masks

Egg masks have been around for a while, and that’s because they work so well! Eggs are rich in protein and biotin. In fact, egg yolks have one of the highest concentrations of biotin. This is important because it is one of the building blocks of protein. There are a few methods for an egg mask, but the easiest is to whisk an egg and comb it into your hair after shampooing. Let it sit for five minutes and rinse out with lukewarm water.

Wash Your Hair The Right Way

We’ve all heard that you shouldn’t shampoo your hair every day, but did you know there is a right and a wrong way to use shampoo? (Hint: The above photo is doing it wrong). Since shampoo is mainly used for cleaning product and dirt from the hair, it often strips the hair of essential nutrients. This causes the ends of your hair to be thinner than the hair at your scalp. So, when you do use shampoo, make sure to massage only in the roots, and then let the soap flow down to your tips. Also – always, always, always use conditioner!

Proper Diet

Last but not least – make sure you’re getting plenty of protien and vitiman H in your diet! Foods that are rich in these essential building blocks for hair growth are nuts, milk, cheese, pork, salmon, avocado, and cauliflower.
