Wallpaper is one of those home decor items that has changed a lot over the years. While the technology has made wallpaper a lot more durable, it’s also gone largely out of fashion. Paint colors in saturated or pastel hues, as well stencils, have proved far more popular as of late. But, remember when just about every house had at least some wallpaper in it? Those designs were quite lovely and we wish they were still making wallpaper like that today!

From the Victorian era all the way into the 1960s wallpaper was the final touch on many a room. And, often if it wasn’t damaged the paper stayed in place for many many years, a quaint reminder of times past.
