The holidays are fast approaching, starting with Halloween! One thing we love about this time of year is getting to decorate around a theme. There are so many cute and creative ways to change up the look of your home with a few handmade crafts! We love getting to add a few new items to the holiday decor stockpile each year, and this year is no exception. Go ahead and check out this list of inexpensive and easy Halloween decor ideas. Which one are you going to try first?

Witch Hat Wreath

What a fun and festive idea! For this project, simply grab some fall florals and slip them inside of a witch hat that you can pick up at the dollar store. Tie a bow right under the brim of the hat to hold everything together. Pinch around the rim of the hat to fold one end up, and then add a few little extras like pine cones or fake spiders. Hang up and enjoy!

Pumpkin Topiary

We love this creative idea! Pick up several of those classic plastic pumpkin buckets and remove the handles. Drill a hole in the bottom and start stacking! The base should be a big pot filled with soil, as well as a rebar sticking out, firmly secured in the pot (or directly in the ground, depending on where you put your topiary). Stack your pumpkins at an angle, filling each one with soil and potted plants as you go!

Pumpkin Candle Holders

These are so easy to make. Grab some wine glasses from your local thrift store (in varying heights), and paint to look like pumpkins, ghosts, Frankenstein, mummies, etc. Then, simply put a candle on top and display them on your mantle or side table for a fun little splash of Halloween!

Monogram Pumpkin

Isn’t this so fun and classy? For this project, you’ll need to print out the letter you want monogrammed. Draw dots along the outline, about an inch apart (or whatever looks good to you). Next, tape your stencil to the pumpkin and drill holes over the dots. With a thick thread (or yarn) and a needle, weave in and out of the holes.

Halloween Tree

Sure, you’ve heard of a Christmas tree, but what about a Halloween tree? Start with one of those fake, all-white trees. Take apart the three sections, spray painting the bottom orange, the middle yellow, and leaving the top white. From there, you can either throw on some lights and set the tree on your porch for a cute little candy corn tree, or you can bring it inside and decorate with a witch hat, siders, and whatever other little Halloween trinkets you have on hand.
