Do you ever see a really cute notebook in a store and know that you need to have it and that your life will never be complete without it? This happens to me on a fairly regular basis. I promise myself that this time I’ll definitely use it to get organized, or start a gratitude journal, or write letters to my grandma. Alas, none of those things have ever come to pass. Thus, I have an abundance of empty notebooks. But no more! This is a list of 10 brilliant ways I’m going to fill up my notebooks and make all of my dreams come true. Ok, maybe just fill the notebooks. I don’t want to over-promise anything here. Go ahead and check these ideas out! Which one is your favorite?

1. Sleep Tracker

Do you wake up groggy, cranky, tired, and thinking about how many hours you have to function like a normal adult before flopping back down into bed? Me too. That’s why I want to start a sleep tracker. This is a tool for you to be aware and take notes on your sleeping habits. You can be as detailed or as simple as you want. I plan on tracking the time I go to bed, the time I wake up, and what mood I’m in when I wake up. I’ll also have a section for notes on things that might impact my sleep – ate a big meal right before bed, watched 4 hours of The Walking Dead right before bed, stress at work, etc.

2. Motivational Quotes

Who doesn’t need a motivational quote every now and then? This is great for the artsy types who like to practice calligraphy or other kinds of fancy lettering. I used to sketch in my notebooks at school all the time, and I remember it was actually very calming. Here is a new and improved way to calm anxiety and get motivated about life!
