With Just A Few Supplies, You And The Kiddos Can Make This Valentine’s Day Craft!

We just cleared out one of our many junk drawers around the studio and found that we had almost everything we needed to complete this cute craft!

How cute are these Valentine’s Day crafts? I just love how these turned out, and I especially loved how easy they were to make! Fun, festive, and easy to complete – that’s the trifecta of DIY projects!

All you need for this craft is some felt, an embroidery hoop, festive fabric, and contrasting embroidery thread. If you want, you can use little odds and ends to really make things pop, like beads, string, or buttons. We just cleared out one of our many junk drawers around the studio and found that we had almost everything we needed to complete this cute craft!

Wouldn’t this be a fun project for the kids to help out with? Maybe don’t hand your toddler a needle and thread, but if your kids are bit older and ready to learn a few basic embroidery stitches, this is a fun and easy way to practice with them! Or, if you’re not quite ready to whip out a needle and thread, a totally kid-friendly version would be to use glue. You can always cut letters out of felt, or help them write cursive letters with string!
