This wave stitch is so cool! I love the texture in this pattern, and the open, loose stitching created here. This would be a great pattern to try out on a wrap or a scarf to wear in the spring, something that covers up but doesn’t suffocate!

The “wave” part of the stitch is created by different numbers of yarn overs – 2,3,4,3,2. The pattern is an 8 row repeating pattern, so once you get the hang of it, it’s very easy to knit along while chatting with friends or watching your favorite show!
