We love using frozen vegetables as they are a great way to save money in the kitchen while still using real, whole foods. We are sure we are not alone when we say that sometimes the ones you buy in the store can be very hit or miss, often not having quite the same depth of flavor as the ones you can buy fresh or better yet, the ones you may grow in your own garden.

With that, we are so excited to share this step by step tutorial from Howcast breaking down the simple steps to freezing vegetables from your garden.

We use this process year after year to make sure our home grown produce isn’t going to waste! Some of my favorites to freeze are green beans, carrots, parsnips and broccoli.
