I must admit that for years I didn’t often plant vertical crops because I wasn’t sure that I could train those crops to climb the trellises properly. Once I finally bit the bullet, I was felt ridiculous as I learned it was so much easier than one may imagine. Now, there is no excuse to not grow some of my favorite produce like tomatoes, winter squash, pumpkins, watermelons and runner beans.
