While we love big quilting projects that are a true labor of love, we must admit it’s nice to have a quick and easy block pattern up our sleeve to whip out for those last minute occasions! That’s why we love this new mini quilting tutorial from one of our favorite quilting resources – the Missouri Star Quilt Company!

The video below is only 45 seconds long – and that’s all you need to learn how to do this super easy quilt block! I just love the bright and bold colors used in this particular project, but of course, you can switch it up with some patterns and prints.

This quilt block is made all the easier by using a jelly roll – that is, two and a half inch strips that are pre-cut so you can get right to piecing and quilting! If you’re a new quilter, this is a great first project to work on. You’ll learn some basics without getting too far into the weeds.

Go ahead and see how it’s done in the video below, and don’t forget to share a photo of your finished Dream Weaver quilt in the comments! Happy quilting, friends!
