Bat Lamp

Via gluedots.com

This is a great DIY if you’re in the mood to spruce up the place for Halloween, but have absolutely no time or motivation to do anything too intricate. All you need for this is a piece of black paper, some scissors, and glue dots – or tape. Cut out different shapes – they could be bats, cats, witches, etc. The sky is the limit! Then stick the shapes on the inside of the lamp and watch as they cast a spooky shadow across the room!

Jack Skellington Garland

Via Chip And Co

What better way to celebrate the Halloween season than with the iconic Jack Skellington? The kids will love this decor, and they might even enjoy helping out in the process! To get this fun decoration, you’ll need some balloons, string, cornstarch, water, and black felt. Start by blowing up the balloons only a little bit. Then, mix the cornstarch and water to get a makeshift paper mache of sorts. Dip the string into the cornstarch mix, and wrap around the balloon several times. Let it dry overnight and pop the balloon to reveal a small, white circle of string. Then, cut out the eyes and mouth and attach with glue. Get the full instructions here!
