10 Ways To Decorate With Books (Without Ruining Them)

No books were harmed in the making of this post.

I love books. Some have argued that I have too many books, especially when they have to pack up the books and move them across the country. But they don’t know what they’re talking about. Never too many books, am I right? There are, however, only so many books I can read at a time (preferably one fiction, one non-fiction, and a biography), so what can I possibly do with the rest? Turn them into Christmas decor, obviously. This list combines my two great loves – books and the holiday season! Check out my top 10 decor ideas using books. None of these ideas will harm the books in any way, so I’ll be able to read them all again one day soon!

Lighted Book Tree

We’ve all got a pile of books somewhere (read: everywhere), so why not throw some lights on them and pretend they’re a tree? Win win.

Noel

I love this classy decor! Technically they drew on the pages, but the book is still readable. Buuuuuut if you’re a purest, I’m sure you could just draw out the letters on paper and stick them on with scotch tape. Easily removable, but still the same effect.

Book Advent Calendar

I love this idea! Great for kids books. This book a day advent calendar is fun for the whole family!
